Signed to Republic Records, C.S. Armstrong released his debut album Shotgun under the label in 2021. Born in Houston, C.S became an ordained minister at only 10 years old, and 8 years later he would leave to serve his country in the military for 8 years. After serving in the military, Dr. Dre became his mentor when he was 26 after moving to LA and he started creating music with gospel, blues, and hip-hop influences.
