Caitlin Jean Stasey is an Australian actress, writer, director, and singer best known for her work in film and television. She was born in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, on May 1, 1990.
Caitlin began her acting career in 2003 as a child actor when she was cast in the TV series Sleepover Club, but she became famous between 2005 and 2009 when she starred in the soap opera Neighbours. She has since had recurring roles in the TV series Bridge and Tunnel, For The People, APB, Please Like Me, and Reign. Caitlin’s filmography includes Tomorrow, When the War Began, Kindred Spirits, The Only One, The Girl in the Bathtub, Chu and Blossom, Lust for Love, and Please Like Me, but she is best known for starring in the horror-mystery film Smile alongside Sosie Bacon, Jessie T. Usher, Robin Weigert, Kal Penn, and Kyle Gallner. She won an IF Award for Best Actress.
