Caleb Johnson is a singer born on 23rd April 1991 in Asheville, North Carolina, United States. he is widely known for winning season 13 of the reality singing competition “American Idol”. Before appearing in the reality show, he was a member of the Elijah Hooker band. He released an album titled “Elijah Hooker” with the band in June 2013. The album contained 10 tracks. Johnson auditioned for the American Idol for a record four times. He first auditioned for season 10 of the competition in 2011. He was selected to participate in season 13 of the reality show, which he ended up winning.
After the conclusion of the show, he started working on his first album, “Testify”. The album featured Brain Howes, James Michael, Aloe Blacc, and Howard Benson. In 2015, he started working on his second album, which was scheduled for release in 2016, but it was not possible. However, the album’s lead single, “Holding On”, was released in February 2016.
