Candace Owens Bio

Candace Amber Owens (born April, 28 1989) was raised in Stamford, Connecticut and is an conservative commentator and political activist. The 30-year old African American pursued her undergraduate degree in journalism at the University of Rhode Island, which she then left in her junior year in 2012 to work with Vogue. Driven by her proclivity for journalism, in 2016, Owens embarked on privacy violation with her online platform, SocialAutopsy.com that exposed online bullies with the use of their digital footprint. This venture led her to be a conservatist, launching her YouTube channel titled Red Pill Black, a platform promoting black conservatism within the United States in 2017 becoming a widely recognized force on Twitter and Youtube. Within the same year, founder of Turning Point USA, Charlie Kirk, appointed Owens as the Director of Urban Engagement. Her conservative support advanced her reputation within the pro-Trump clique where she launched the ‘black exit’ movement, also known as ‘Blexit’ in 2018.

President Donald Trump tweeted that Candace Owens “represents an ever expanding group of very smart ‘thinkers,’ and it is wonderful to watch and hear the dialogue going on…so good for our Country!” Candace now is now a host for her own weekly show ‘The Candace Owens Show’ and is an author of her own book titled ‘Blackout: How Black America Can Make Its Second Escape from the Democratic Plantation’. Kanye West has also commented on Candace Owens’ endeavours stating ‘I love the way Candace Owens thinks’ on his personal Twitter. She has more than 250 TV appearances on Fox News.
