Canton Dorrelle Jones was born on January 9, 1977 in Deerfield Beach, Florida. He was so determined to be a gospel musician that he created his own record label called CAJO International in 2001. His first album was titled 20 Years, 3 Months & 12 Days. Jones teamed up with rapper Lil iROCC Williams and together they wrote You and Me, which would be featured on the compilation album called Holy Hip-Hop:Taking the Gospel to the Streets.
Jones later joined the choir of the World Changers International Church and began inspiring children in the church. He eventually got signed to Arrow Records and began making even more music. He teamed up with other popular Gospel artists such as Messenja and Erica Cumbo to create Dominionaire Remixed in 2011. He released Lust, Drugs, and Gospel in 2014, which was warmly received because it was produced with the goal of helping those with lust and drug addictions.
