Captain Cuts is a songwriting, record production and remix group coming out of Los Angeles, California. The group’s members consist of Ben Berger, Ryan McHahon, and Ryan Rabin. The trio all went to the same high school and began writing together after graduation. The group have written songs for such artists as Walk The Moon, Grouplove, Tove Lo, The Chainsmokers, American Authors, Smallpools, Halsey, Bebe Rexha, Marina and the Diamonds, Britney Spears and The Knocks among many others. In 2013 the group signed a deal with Warner Bros Records to form Cuts Records. Cuts Records was a record label through which Warner Bros would sign, produce, and develop new artists. In 2016 the group signed a record deal with Epic Records as a group of artists. They released their first single “Love Like We Used To” which peaked at number 43 on the US Pop Charts. In the same year Captain Cuts won two Billboard Music Awards for Top Rock Song and Top Radio Song and a ASCAP Pop Music Award for Song of the Year.
