Cara Buono Bio

Cara Buono is an actress born on 1st March 1974 in New York, United States. She is widely recognized for playing Dr. Fraye Miller in season 4 of the drama television series “Mad Men”. Growing up, she never visited theaters or Broadway Shows but went to a good performing arts school. She got her first experience in theater at age 12 when she was cast in Harvey Fiersten’s play “Spook House”. She went on to make several theatrical appearances.

Buono made her big-screen debut with the drama television series “Dream Street”. In 1992, she landed her first television role in the mystery film “Waterland”. She went on to appear in “Family Law” in 2001, “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” in 2002, and “Miss Match” in 2003. In 2016, she appeared in the series “Strange Things”, for which she won the Screen Actors Guild Award.
