Caravan Palace is a French jazz electronic music group. The band was formed around 2006, when the trio made of violinist Hugues Payen, guitarist Arnaud Vial and bassist Charles Delaporte were hired to compose the soundtrack for a film. Their sound caught the ear of producer Loïc Barrouk who booked the band a record studio. They became very popular and they spent most of the following years touring around France and the rest of Europe. In 2008, they released their debut eponymous album which was a huge success, earning praise for its catchy mix of jazz and electronic music. The album made it to several international charts and a few years later they released their second album “Panic” through Wagram Music. In 2014 they remixed Drake Bell’s single “Bitchcraft” gaining thousands of streams in a few hours. The band has had a changing line up and some of their former members include Antoine Toustou and Victor Raimondeau.
