Carissa Potter is an artist from Oakland, California, United States. She is widely known for her amazing work, which touches on things and situations we all relate to or have experienced at some point in our lives. Carissa received her MFA in Printmaking in 2010 from the San Francisco Art Institute. She is the founder of the printmaking workshop People I’ve Loved and a co-founder of Colpa Press.
Carissa has also worked with De Young Museum, SFMOMA, ICA in Boston, BAM/PFA, and many others. Her first book, “I Like You, I Love You”, was published in 2015 by Chronicle Books. Three years later, she published her second book, “It’s Okay to Feel Things Deeply”. Carissa also has an Instagram account under the username peopleiveloved. She mostly uploads content related to art, objects, and other things that can help people feel less lonely.
