Carlie Hanson is an American pop singer-songwriter born in 2000 in Onalaska, Wisconsin. She started posting cover songs to social media in 2014, and by 2016 her cover of Zayn Malik’s “Pillowtalk” went viral. This prompted a collaboration with producer Ray Villalobos to work with her on her own material in Toronto. After working with Los Angeles songwriter Dale Anthoni in 2018, she was ready to release her debut single “Only One” later that year. The single went viral, and the young artist set off on tour supporting artists like Troye Sivan, Yungblud, Jeremy Zucker and Bad Suns. The following year, Hanson signed with WB and released her debut EP “Junk”, buoyed by the hit single “Back in My Arms”, and was considered a rising talent by Paper Magazine.
