Carlin Isles Bio
Carlin Isles is an American professional rugby and football player who plays in top competitions in both events. He was born in Akron, Ohio, United States, on November 21, 1989.
Carlin spent his formative years running track and playing football at Ashland University, but in 2012, he made the switch to Rugby 7s. He has since represented the Gentlemen of Aspen RF, Glasgow Warriors, and Ayr RFC, and he has been a mainstay on the U.S. national rugby 7’s squad. In 2016, he represented the U.S. at the first rugby sevens event at the Olympics, in an American team that also featured Danny Barrett, Zack Test, Andrew Durutalo, and Nate Ebner.
