Carlos Gomez is a former professional baseball player born on 4th December 1985 in Santiago, Dominican Republic. He started his career with the New York Mets on 27th July 2002 as a free agent. His major league debut with the Mets came on 13th May 2007. In January 2008, he was traded to Minnesota Twins, with pitcher Johan Santana moving the other way. He has an impressive spell with the Twins.
In November 2009, he was traded to Milwaukee Brewers, with J. J Hardy moving the other way. Before the 2013 season, he penned a new deal that would see him remain with the Brewers for another three years. He went on to have an impressive career with the Brewers before joining Houston Astros on July 2015. In August 2016, he signed with Texas Ranger and was later assigned to the PCL team Round Rock Express. In March 2018, he joined Tampa Bay Rays on a one-year deal, and in 2019, he returned to the Mets.
