Carlton Michael George Cole, known as Carlton Cole, is an English retired professional soccer player and coach best known for his time in the Premier League. He was born in Croydon, England, on October 12, 1983.
Carlton began his professional career in 2001 when he signed with Chelsea’s senior team. He went on to represent Wolverhampton Wanderers, Charlton Athletic, Aston Villa, Celtic, Sacramento Republic, Persib Bandung, and West Ham United, and throughout his time with West Ham, Carlton played alongside Mark Noble, Rob Green, Winston Reid, and Adrián San Miguel del Castillo.
Since his retirement in 2018, he has coached the junior West Ham squads.
