Carmen Carrera is an American actress, model, and artist who was born on April 13th, 1985 in Elmwood Park, New Jersey, United States.
Carmen got her start on RuPaul's Drag Race as a drag performer. She got eliminated in the tenth episode RuPaul-a-Palooza while singing the reggae-inspired Superstar cover. Judges Michelle Visage, Santino Rice, and Billy Brasfield re-invited her back in the twelfth episode Jocks in Frocks. As a model, she later signed to the Elite Model Management of New York and later walked the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. She has been featured in high-profile magazines including Vogue, W Magazine, Glamour Magazine, Time Magazine, and Elle Magazine. Her TV acting debut came on the hit show Jane the Virgin starring alongside Gina Rodriguez.
