Carmen Ejogo is an actress born on 22nd October 1973 in Kensington, London, England. She started her career in 1993 as host of the morning show Saturday Disney. She went on to appear in the films “Love’s Labor’s Lost” in 2000, “Away We Go” in 2009, “Alex Cross” in 2012, “The Purge: Anarchy” in 2014, and “It Comes at Night” in 2017. She made her television debut in 1996 with the series “Cold Lazarus”.
She went on to appear in the television series “Tube Tales” in 1998, “Boycott” in 2001, “Lackawanna Blues” in 2005, “Kidnapped” from 2006 to 2007, “CHAOS” in 2011, “True Detective” in 2019, “Self Made” in 2020, and “Secret Invasion” in 2022. Ejogo is also a musician, having collaborated with a number of artists since the ‘90s. She has been featured on four songs of the soundtrack album “Sparkle” from the film of the same name.
