Caroline Wozniacki Bio

Caroline Wozniacki is a Danish professional tennis player born in 1990 in Odense. She began playing as a child, and at age 15 she played the WTA tour, becoming a finalist at the Australian Open, the Roland Garros tournament, and winning the junior category at Wimbledon. In 2006 she also earned the title for the ITF professional category. In 2008 she was ranked as the world’s #12, and ascended to #4 reaching the finals of the US Open and Wimbledon a year later. She topped the ranking in 2010, as she also won 6 WTA titles and broke a record for number match wins. After winning more titles in Istanbul, Malaysia and Luxembourg, she represented Denmark at the 2016 Rio Olympics and the following year she made her fourth-anniversary ranking as a world’s top 5 player. She beat top-player Venus Williams in Singapore, and in 2018 she won the Grand Slam title. The athlete has also ventured into modeling and philanthropy.
