Carrie Preston is an actress born on 21st June 1967 in Macon, Georgia, United States. She is widely recognized for her appearance in different television series. She has worked on a wide range of projects with her husband. She appeared in an episode of the drama series “Lost”, which also featured her husband. The couple also appeared in the comedy film “Straight-Jacket” in 2008. Preston went on to appear in the fantasy horror drama series “True Blood” as Arlene Fowler.
She also played a recurring role in CBS’s legal, political series “The Good Wife”, for which she won the Primetime Emmy Award in the category of Outstanding Guest Actress in Drama series in 2013. In the same year, she joined the cast of the crime thriller film “The Following”. In 2015, she played the main character role in the television sitcom “Crowded”, which also featured Patrick Warburton. In 2016, she played Polly Mark in the comedy-drama series “Claws”.
