Scott Thompson, better known as Carrot Top, is an American stand-up comedian and actor born in Rockledge, Florida on February 25, 1965. While in college, he had his first stand up comedy performance. He made his debut in film in 1993 in the movie So I Married An Axe Murderer and has since had roles and made appearances in the shows and films The Larry Sanders Show, Scrubs, Weakest Link, Pauly Shore Is Dead, The Aristocats, George Lopez, Family Guy, Smiley Face, The Girls Next Door, The Bad Girls Club, The Game, Cash Cab, Tosh.0, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Reno 911, The Neighbors, and more. Thompson also served as a spokesman in the commercials for 1-800-CALL-ATT. He was the continuity announcer for Cartoon Network from 1995 to 1999 and produced and starred in a morning show named Carrot Top’s AM Mayhem on the network. In 2018 he started headlining a comedy show at the Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas.
