Carson Kelly is a baseball player who currently plays for the Arizona Diamondbacks that competes in Major League Baseball (MLB). Born on 14th July 1994 in Chicago, Illinois, United States, Kelly started playing baseball at the age of 4. He played high school baseball for Stoller Middle School before transferring to Westview High School. Kelly started his professional career with the St. Louis Cardinals after being selected in the second round (86th overall pick) of the 2012 MLB draft.
He joined Johnson City Cardinals, an affiliate of St. Louis Cardinals, and was later promoted to the Peoria Chiefs. He joined the Palm Beach Cardinals for the 2015 season and won the Rawlings Gold Glove Award. In December 2018, he was traded to Arizona Diamondbacks alongside Andy Young and Luke Weaver, with Paul Goldschmidt moving the other way. In January 2023, he extended his contract with the Diamondbacks for another year.
