Cassia Bio
Cassia is an English indie pop band from London, England. The band is formed by Rob Ellis as the lead vocalist and guitarist, Lou Cotterill as the bassist and second vocalist, and Jacob Leff as the drummer. Their music combines a mix of sounds from different countries from Cuba to the Congo. They have cited one of their main influences as Fela Kuti and Paul Simon. They signed to Distiller Records in 2018 and they recorded their debut album that same year. The album included the singles “Loosen Up” and “Get Up Tight” which quickly amassed over 100, 000 streams on Spotify.
