Catherine O’Hara Bio
Catherine O’Hara was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on March 4, 1954. Her earliest appearance was in The Wayne & Shuster Show in 1975. She also played various roles in SCTV and SCTV Network.
In 2006, she won the New York Film Critics award for Best Supporting Actress For Your Consideration.
In 2016, she won the ACTRA Award for Outstanding Performance- Female for her role in Schitt’s Creek. She also won the American Comedy Award for Funniest Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture in 2001 for Best in Show for her appearance in the show. She also won the Canadian Screen Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Continuing Leading Comedic Role in 2016 and 2017. She bagged the Canadian Screen Award Best Lead Actress, Comedy in 2018.
