Catie Turner Bio
Catie Turner is a folk singer born on 14th February 2000 in Pennsylvania, United States. She gained fame for participating in the sixteenth season of the reality singing competition “American Idol”. Turner is also known for her song “Prom Queen”, which was used in the trailer for the documentary web series “The Beautiful of Jeffree Star”. The song earned more than 11 million views in one week. Before participating in American Idol, she had unsuccessfully auditioned for The Voice twice.
Turner released her debut album, titled “The Sad Vegan” in 2019. In April 2020, she signed a recording contract with Atlantic Records. In the same year, she released her first single through the label, titled “One Day”. In 2021, she released her second EP, titled “Heartbroken and Milking It”, which contained six songs. Her other singles include “Breathe” in 2019, “I luv him” in 2019, “One Day” in 2020, “Hide and Seek” in 2021” and “Nothing” in 2022.
