Cecilio & Kapono Bio
A Hawaiian pop duo consisting of Henry Kapono Ka’aihue and Cecilio David Rodriguez in 1973 are known for releasing, to date over a dozen full length albums, crossing genres including music that can be identified as disco, rock, funk, modern soul and Hawaiian music.
With plenty of music released by the duo as solo artists, they are known for having a strong and likeable sound. Some of their most notable music is their debut album Cecilio & Kapono, released through Columbia Records. Also released through Columbia records were there next to albums, Elua and Night Music. The duo’s most recent albums are Hawaiian Nights and Life’s Different Know, their last album dropped in the early 2000’s to great success and ongoing fan enjoyment.
