Actress and comedian Cecily Strong, born February 8th 1984 in Springfield, Illinois, graduated from Chicago Academy for the Arts, studied acting at California Institute of the Arts, and continued her studies at the Second City Conservatory and iO Chicago. The comedian did the rounds on the comedy circuit, appearing at Chicago Sketch Fest, Chicago Just for Laughs, New York Sketchfest, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and with the all-female improvisation troupe Virgin Daiquiri. Strong made a memorable debut on Saturday Night Live, and after a long run on the show, left a significant legacy. Cecily had the honour of being a featured entertainer at the 2015 White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner. Strong stepped into acting, appearing in The Bronze, Awkward Sexy People, Staten Island Summer, The Meddler, Angie Tribeca, The Boss, Superstore, Scream Queens, and The Female Brain.
