Celia Imrie Bio

Celia Diana Imrie was born July 15, 1952 in Guildford Surrey, England. She started acting when she was sixteen years old, playing a role in the play Dick Whittington. She is perhaps most known for her work in the film called Victoria, which was released in 1994; however, she has starred in countless other productions throughout the world. Television shows include Marianne Bellshade (1983), After You’ve Gone (2007-2008), Gloria Millington in Kingdom (2007-2009), and Doctor Who (2013). Her film credits include Hilary and Jackie (1998), Bridget Jones’s Diary (2001), Calendar Girls (2003), The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel (2012) and The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel (2015). She most recently appeared in the United States television show, Legends of Tomorrow. She has won two Audie Awards (2016) and one Laurence Olivier Award (2006).
