Chad Brownlee is a Canadian country music singer and former ice hockey player, born July 12, 1984, in Kelowna, British Columbia. He is best known for his 2012's album Love Me or Leave Me nominated for the Juno Award for Country Album of the Year in 2013. Forever's Gotta Start Somewhere, the second single from his fourth studio album Back in the Game became his first number one hit on the Billboard Canada Country chart in April 2019. Chad was a draft pick for the NHL's Vancouver Canucks in 2003.
He played for four years for the Minnesota State Mavericks and with the ECHL's Idaho Steelheads before ending his hockey career due to a series of nagging injuries. He had an appearance in the 2010 film Tooth Fairy featuring Dwayne Johnson, Ashley Judd, and Julie Andrews. He is married to female golfer Katie Mettling.
