Chandler Parsons was born on October 25, 1988 in Casselberry, Florida. He plays the small forward position for the Memphis Grizzlies of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He attended Lake Howell High School in Winter Park, Florida and played college basketball for the University of Florida (2007–2011). The Houston Rockets drafted him as the 38th overall pick in the second round of the 2011 NBA draft.
His professional career started in 2011, Chandler played from 2011 to 2014 for the Houston Rockets and from 2014 to 2016 for the Dallas Mavericks before signing with the Memphis Grizzlies. Chandler won the NBA All-Rookie Second Team (2012), AP Honorable mention All-American (2011), SEC Player of the Year (2011) and First-team All-SEC (2011).
