Charisma Carpenter is an American actress and producer best known for her work in film and television. She was born in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States, on July 23, 1970. Charisma began her acting career in the mid-1990s when she appeared in the TV series Baywatch and Malibu Shores, but she became famous in 1997 when she was cast as Cordelia Chase in the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. She has since had a successful career in television, with recurring roles in the TV series Veronica Mars, Going Home, The Lying Game, Greek, Charmed, and Miss Match, but she is best known for starring in the action-drama series Angel alongside David Boreanaz, Alexis Denisof, J. August Richards, and Amy Acker. Charisma’s filmography includes The Expendables, Mail Order Monster, Relative Chaos, See Jane Date, and Girl in Woods.
