Charles Kelley is a singer and songwriter born on 11th September 1981 in Augusta, Georgia, United States. He is a co-founder and lead singer of the music group Lady A. They founded the group in 2006, and the other members include Dave Haywood and Hillary Scott. They released their debut album, titled “Lady Antebellum”, in April 2008. Their second album, “Need You Now”, was released in 2010.
Charles has also released music as a solo music artist. He released his first solo single, titled “The Driver”, featuring Eric Paslay and Dierks Bentley. The song was nominated for the Grammy Award in the category of Best Country Duo/Group Performance. In February 2016, he released his solo debut album, titled “The Driver”. Charles has also been involved in writing songs for other artists. He has also written songs for his brother Josh Kelley.
