Charlotte Adigéry Bio
WWWater is the stage name of Charlotte Adigéry, a R&B electronic musician, singer and record producer. She was born in France, although she relocated at a young age in Ghent, Belgium, in a family of Martinique and Guadeloupe descent. She studied music in college and in 2016, she got her first career breakthrough when she collaborated on the track “The Best Thing” by the duo Soulwax. She met one of her most prominent collaborators, Boris Zeebroek, through their common friendship with Soulwax members, David and Stephen Dewaele. Together, Zeebroek and Adigéry released the breakout hit “Paténipat” in 2018. In 2019, they released as WWWater, their debut EP “Zandoli”. The title of the album is a reference of Adigéry cultural heritage, as it is the name of a lizard in the Caribbean islands where her parents are from.
