Charlotte Flair Bio

Ashley Elizabeth Fliehr, better known in the ring as Charlotte Flair, is a professional wrestler born on April 5, 1986, in Charlotte, North Carolina. She is the daughter of former professional wrestler Ric Flair. In her youth, Flair was a volleyball player and had no intention to follow in her father’s footsteps. Her background in volleyball gave her a leg up when she finally debuted in the wrestling ring in 2012. In 2014, she competed in an 8-woman tournament and defeated all her competitors to become the NXT Women's Champion. Soon after winning this title, Flair debuted in RAW, becoming a holder of the Diva title and the first to win the Raw Women's Championship. Flair is a trailblazer in many aspects, including being one of the first women to headline a pay-per-view event and the first female Superstar in WWE history to headline in a singles match on Raw, SmackDown, and a pay-per-view. Flair is also the first woman to ever win 10 titles when she defeated Bayley to win the SmackDown Women's Championship.
