Chelcee Grimes is a singer, songwriter, and soccer player born on May 8, 1992, in Liverpool, England. Though she signed with a record label at 19, she was dropped by the label a few months later and decided to focus as a songwriter. As a songwriter, Grimes’s first big hit was co-writing Million Miles for Kylie Minogue. She would go on to write songs for other big musicians like Louisa Johnson, Kesha, and Dua Lipa. In 2018, she returned to performing and released her first single titled Just Like That. While continuing to create and write music, Grimes is also a soccer player. She has played the sport since she was 10 years old. She first played with Liverpool before playing for other teams like Everton, Tottenham, Fulham, and Merseyrail Ladies FC.
