Cheryl Strayed is an American podcast host, author, actress, and producer best known for her work as a writer. She was born in Spangler, Pennsylvania, United States, on September 17, 1968.
Cheryl has become known for writing several romantic novels that have been well-received commercially and by the literary community, Her body of work includes the books Torch, This Telling, The Best American Essays, Brave Enough, and Wild: A Journey from Lost to Found, which was adopted in similarly named film that featured Reese Witherspoon, Laura Dern, Gaby Hoffmann, and Michiel Huisman.
