Chris D’Elia is an American actor, comedian, and writer born in Montclair, New Jersey on March 29, 1980. He is best known for his roles on the shows Whitney, Undateable, and The Good Doctor. At the age of twelve his family moved from New Jersey to Los Angeles, California. While still in high school he landed his debut acting role on the show Chicago Hope in 1996. He continued landing roles in shows like Glory Daze, Monk, Whitney, Workaholics, Rush Hour, The Great Indoors, Jennifer Falls, The Good Doctor, You and others. He made his debut in film in 2004 in the movie Almost and has since had roles in the films Bad Girls from Valley High, Crazylove, Celeste and Jesse Forever, Flock of Dudes, XOXO, Band Aid, The Female Brain, Little Evil, Half Magic, and Life in a Year. In 2006 he started doing stand up and has been featured on Live at Gotham, Comedy Central Presents, and Live Nude Comedy. In 2013 he released his first one hour stand up special titled White Male Black Comic on Comedy Central. That same year he released his debut parody rap album titled Such Is Life produced by Mr. Green.
