Chris Eubank Jr., born Christopher Livingstone Eubank Jr. (September 18, 1989) is a British professional boxer and has held the British Middleweight Champion in 2019. Born in Hove, East Sussex, Eubank moved to the U.S. with his brother at the age of 16 and began his amateur boxing career in 2007. As an amateur and after his eighth amateur fight, Eubank became the Amateur Golden Glove Champion in his weight division for the Western States of the U.S. This led to his professional career in 2011 and within 3 years had 13 knockouts to his name. In 2014, Eubank signed with BoxNation and scheduled his first fight on February 22 as a middleweight fighter. He first fought and won against Alistair Warren, followed by his win against Sandro Micsko. He followed with four more wins that year, all resulting in a technical knockout (TKO). Although his winning streak ended with a loss against Billy Joe Saunders, Eubank redeemed himself by winning against undefeated Russian boxer Dmitry Chudinov in 2015 with a TKO. This earned Eubank and the British middleweight title. Eubank won his next 4 fights in England and made his debut as a super-middleweight boxer in 2016. He won 6 out of the 7 fights he has fought as a super-middleweight boxer and has only lost to George Groves in 2017. Eubank currently holds the WBA interim middleweight title since 2019 and has held the IBO super-middleweight title in 2017 and in 2019. In 2019, BoxRec announced him as the world’s best active middleweight boxer.
