Chris Harris Jr. is an American football player born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on June 18, 1989. He is currently a cornerback for the Denver Broncos of the National Football League. He played football in high school at Bixby High School in Bixby, Oklahoma. He was an all-metro first-team selection and earned all-state honorable mention honors as a junior. He went on to play college football at the University of Kansas. In 2011 he signed a three-year contract with the Denver Broncos for $1.39 million with a $2,000 signing bonus. He made his NFL debut in the Broncos season opener against the Oakland Raiders. In 2014 he signed a four-year extension contract with the Broncos for $42.5 million with $10.9 million guaranteed and a signing bonus of $10 million. In 2016 he became a Super Bowl champion after the Broncos beat the Carolina Panthers 24-10 in Super Bowl 50. Throughout his NFL career, he has recorded 462 tackles, 4.5 Sacks, 83 pass deflections, 19 interceptions, 5 forced fumbles, and 4 defensive touchdowns.
