Chris Hemsworth is an Australian movie and television actor. He was born Christopher Hemsworth on the 11th of August, 1983, in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. He began his acting career appearing on local television series such as “Guinevere Jones”, as well as opera series like “Neighbours”. In 2004, Hemsworth got the role of Kim Hyde in the Australian soap opera “Home and Away”. In 2009, he landed a role in the Hollywood production movie directed by J.J. Abrams “Star Trek” as George Kirk. The same year he acted in the thriller “A Perfect Getaway” starring Milla Jovovich. He started in “Snow White and the Huntsman” in 2012, as well as in the biographical thriller “In the Heart of the Sea” in 2015. Although he has played in many successful movies, Hemsworth’s real breakthrough was in 2011, when he landed the role of Thor in the movie of the same name. In 2019, he would take the role again in “Avengers: Endgame”, establishing him as one of the leading actors in Hollywood.
