Chris Sale was born in Lakeland, Florida on March 30, 1989. He was the first round pick of the Chicago White Sox in the 2010 MLB Amateur Draft. He made his debut in Major League Baseball in August 2010. He signed a five-year contract with the White Sox in 2013. In 2017, he was traded by the White Sox to the Boston Red Sox. He currently plays for Red Sox and serves as the pitcher. Sale has been in the All-Star Games from 2012 to 2018. He also won the TSN Pitcher of the Year Award in the American league in 2017 and 2018. He received four monthly awards for being the Pitcher of the Month, two of which was in 2018. His team also became the World Series Champion in 2018.
