Christopher Michael Short, better known as Christian Kane, is an actor, singer, and songwriter born on June 27, 1972, in Dallas, Texas. While he was attending college, he decided to pursue a career in acting. He left his study and moved to Los Angeles, where he did odd-end jobs while auditioning for roles. His first credited role was as one of the leads of the series Fame L.A. In 1999, he was cast in a recurring capacity in Buffy The Vampire Slayer’s spin-off series, Angel. Kane has also starred in several television shows like Leverage, The Librarians, and Almost Paradise. In 2003, he starred opposite Ashton Kutcher and Brittany Murphy in the film Just Married. Kane also starred in films like Taxi, Secondhand Lions, and Friday Night Lights. Kane launched his debut album, The House Rules, in 2010 which was re-released in 2014 as Welcome to My House!
