Christian Martin Bio
Christian Martin is an American DJ born in West Hartford, Connecticut on August 20, 1976. In his 20’s he traveled around, checking out the music scene in places like London, New York, and Los Angeles and in 2000 settled in San Francisco. He started DJing in 2002 with his brother Justin Martin. In 2003 he founded the electronic dance crew Dirtybird BBQ with his brother Justin Martin and friends Worthy and Claude VonStroke. They have played at large festivals like Fusion, Shambhala, Coachella, and Symbiosis. He released a mixtape in 2009 titled Fact 73 and has appeared on albums like The Beats of San Fran Disco, Compass, and Hello Clouds. In 2012 Dirtybird released the EP Dirtybird Hatched Vol. 1 and in 2014 they released the album self-titled Dirtybird BBQ. In 2013 he and Dirtybird won Underground Label of the Year at the International Dance Music Awards.
