Christian Pulisic Bio
Christian Pulisic is an American professional soccer player born in Hershey, Pennsylvania on September 18, 1998. He currently plays as an attacking midfielder or winger for the German club Borussia Dortmund on a loan from Chelsea. He is also a member of the United States national team. Pulisic started his professional career at Borussia Dortmund in the team’s youth academy, but was quickly promoted to their senior team at 17 years old in 2016. In 2019 he was transferred to Chelsea for $73 million dollars, making him the most expensive American soccer player. He is currently on loan to Borussia Dortmund for the 2018-2019 season. Pulisic has played for the United States at the U-15 and U-17 levels and captained the U17 national team at the 2015 U17 World Cup in Chile. In 2016 he became the youngest player in modern times to score for the United States in the Copa America Centenario. In 2018 he became the youngest player to captain the United States national team against Italy at 20 years old.
