Christina Furtado, widely known as potatoface, is an illustrator and animator. She has a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Sinhgad Institute of Technology & Science and a master's degree in Supply Chain Management from the University of Technology Sydney. Before becoming an illustrator, she worked as an Executive for L'Oréal, planning and procuring Inventory for the monthly production of L'Oreal products in Uttarakhand, India.
The self-taught animator is best known for her comic video, Turture. Christina created a series based on a small-town Indian kid called Tales of Chikooo. She has re-created the works of comic artists like Kusha Kapila, Ashish Chanchalani, and Niharika NM.
Christina created an animation for Netflix India when the fourth season of Stranger Things was released. She is known for spreading smiles and nostalgia. The Australia-based creator appeared on an episode of Paper Pencil Podcast with Swarnavo D.
