Christone Ingram Bio

Christone “Kingfish” Ingram is an American blues guitarist born in Clarksdale, Mississippi in 1999. He started playing instruments as a child and took guitar classes at Clarksdale's Delta Blues Museum with Bill "Howl-N-Madd" Perry and Daddy Rich. He soon stood out, and in 2015 he was distinguished with the Rising Star Award by the Rhythm & Blues Foundation. In 2017 he was featured on an album by Eric Gales, earning praises from stars like Buddy Guy, Bootsy Collins, Dave Grohl, and Rakim. Ingram later acquired a recurring role, as well as a spot in the soundtrack for the Netflix series “Luke Cage.” After graduating from high school, the young artist toured the US, and in 2019 he issued his debut album “Kingfish,” produced by Tom Hambridge. The album earned a Grammy nomination for “Best Traditionalist Blues Album” that year.
