Christopher McDonald is an American actor, producer, and director best known for his work in film and television. He was born in New York City, New York, United States, on February 15, 1955. Christopher began his acting career in 1978 when he appeared in the TV film Getting Married, but he became famous in 1991 when he was cast in the adventure-crime film Thelma & Louise. He has since had a successful TV career, with recurring roles in the TV series American Crime Story, Hacks, Mr. Iglesias, The Real Bros of Simi Valley, Ballers, Costume Quest, The Good Wife, and Harry's Law, but he is best known for starring in the Marvel action series Secret Invasion alongside Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Emilia Clarke, and Cobie Smulders. Christopher’s filmography includes the blockbusters Spy Kids 2: The Island of Lost Dreams, The Perfect Storm, Flubber, About Last Night, The Faculty, Happy Gilmore, and Superhero Movie. He won an award at the New York True Venture Film Festival for Best Actor.
