Christy Michelle Romano, better known as Christy Carlson Romano, is an actor and singer born on March 20, 1984, in Milford, Connecticut. She is known for her multiple roles in Disney television shows and direct-to-tv movies. In 2000, she played the character of Ren Stevens on Even Stevens, acting opposite Shia LaBeouf. She also starred on Disney’s Cadet Kelly with Hilary Duff, Campus Confidential, and Taking Five. Romano is also known as the voice of the titular character of Disney’s Kim Possible. She voiced the character from 2002 to 2007. Romano is a prominent voice actor and has voiced characters like Yuffie Kisaragi in the Kingdom Hearts series and Trina in the Big Hero 6 series. Romano is also a seasoned stage actress. She originated the role of Mary Phagan in Parade in 1998 and played the role of Belle in the stage production of Beauty and the Beast in 2004. Romano published her novel, Grace's Turn, in 2006, which The New York Public Library named the 2007 Teenage Book of the Year.
