Chuando Tan Bio
Chuando Tan (born March 3, 1966 in Toa Payoh, Singapore) is a professional photographer and model most renowned for his Instagram photos.
After earning a diploma in graphic design from the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, Tan began his career as a model in the late 1980s. He switched to music and became a Mandarin pop singer before switching again to celebrity photography in 1996. As a photographer, Tan has worked with reputed brands and magazines including Levis, L’Oreal, Elle, L'Officiel, L'Officiel Hommes, Louis Vuitton, and Harper’s Bazaar.
He met Frey Ow, a photography collaborator, at a metro commercial shoot and in 2006, the duo co-founded a photography firm called, ChuanDo & Frey. In 2008, Tan and Frey shot the album cover 'Discipline' which featured Janet Jackson. Besides his shoots, Tan is also well-known on Instagram for his personal pictures which he shares on Instagram. When he’s not taking pictures, Tan is reading, traveling, surfing the net, or working out. He is the founder of the international modeling agency, @AveManagement.
