Chuck David “IceMan” Liddell is a retired American mixed martial arts fighter. He was born in Santa Barbara, California on December 17, 1969. He began practicing Brazilian jiu-jitsu, kempo, and kickboxing, as well as wrestling in college. He officially began his UFC career in 1998 by winning against Noe Hernandez. During his early career, he had several victories against opponents like Kevin Randleman, Murilo Bustamante, Amar Suloev and Tito Ortiz among others. In 2002, he was considered the number one fighter for the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship. He entered the Pride 2003 Middleweight Grand Prix as the official UFC representative. Liddell had over 20 fights with Randy Couture, and he is one of the most populars fighters of American entertainment. In 2009, Liddell was inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame.
