Charles David Todd, popularly known as Chuck Todd, is a renowned American television journalist and political commentator. He was born in Miami, Florida, United States, on April 8, 1972.
Todd's journalism career began in 1992 as a production assistant for WRC-TV, the NBC-owned Washington D.C. station. He worked his way up to become NBC's Chief White House correspondent, covering the presidential administrations of George W. Bush, Barack Obama, and Donald Trump.
In 2008, Todd became the host of MSNBC's The Daily Rundown, a political news and analysis show. He later took over the moderator role of NBC's Meet the Press in 2014, becoming the 12th person to hold that position.
Todd's expertise in political analysis has led him to be a regular contributor on NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt and Today. He has also authored books, including The Stranger: Barack Obama in the White House and The Bedwetter: Stories of Courage, Redemption, and Pee.
