Ciro Immobile is a professional soccer player born in Torre Annunziata, Italy, on February 20, 1990. He spent his youth career at Sorrento (2002–2008) and Juventus (2008–2009). After making his professional debut for Juventus in 2009, he played on loan at Siena, Grosseto, and Pescara.
Ciro won the 2011/2012 Serie B, Serie B Top Scorer, and Serie B Footballer of the Year while at Pescara. He played at Genoa and Torino before joining Borussia Dortmund in 2014. He won the 2014 DFL-Supercup with the team. The striker joined Lazio in 2016, scoring 155 goals in all appearances. At Lazio, he won Coppa Italia (2018/19) and Supercoppa Italiana (2017, 2019).
Ciro made his national debut for Italy in 2014, winning the 2020 UEFA European Championship with the team. His accolades include Torneo di Viareggio Top Scorer, Torneo di Viareggio Best Player, Capocannoniere, UEFA Europa League Top Scorer, European Golden Shoe, Serie A Best Forward, Lazio Player of the Season, and Italian Sportsman of the Year. He received the Knight: Cavaliere Ordine al Merito della Repubblica Italiana in 2021.
