Clea DuVall is an American actress, born on September 25, 1977, in Los Angeles, California. She is known for appearing in the TV show Heroes and Carnivale. She has also appeared in the movie The Grudge, as well as Argo, and Girl, Interrupted. She is the daughter of Hollywood actor Steph DuVall.
In 1998, she had her debut role in the film The Faculty alongside Elijah Wood and Josh Hartnett. In 1999, she played a Goth student called Misty, in the film She’s All That. DuVall is considered a complex person, friendly and soft-spoken, yet independent and tough, and she often lends this complexity to her characters. Some of her other popular works include Identity and 21 Grams in 2003. She is also close friends with Summer Phoenix and director Jamie Babbit. She has also worked on other popular TV shows including Veep, and The Handmaid’s Tale. In 2021, she gave her voice to the animated TV series HouseBroken.
